This course is one of the courses in the Professional Business Communication Certificate program. During the course, students will learn how to improve English skills, including comprehension, speaking, reading and writing in business context. Specific course outcomes include: learning to pronounce all of the vowel and consonant sounds audibly, to use more native-like pauses and speed to communicate more clearly, and to demonstrate mainstream professional speaking skills. Students will also practice and receive feedback on writing skills and learn to use linear organization to write concrete messages that are clear, concise, consistent, and consensus building. (25 Hrs)
